Shore House

Mental Health and Step-down support to independent living

Shore House Supported Living

Shore House is a spacious Victorian home in Southampton, just a short walk from the waterfront. The Shore House provides a calming escape. It is a place where residents can enjoy group walks, quiet moments, and the restorative breeze of fresh coastal air. They can do this whenever they need it.

Shore House offers transitional accommodation designed to support adults aged 18 and over living with mental health needs. Residents are welcomed into generous, fully furnished en-suite bedrooms arranged across three floors. Shared areas include a light-filled lounge. There are communal dining spaces and a peaceful courtyard garden. All these areas are thoughtfully curated to feel homely, calm, and comfortable.

At Bulwark, we offer 24/7 on-call support in a nurturing, structured environment. Our recovery-focused approach blends practical skill-building, personalised support plans, and opportunities for meaningful connection. We partner with the NHS, Southampton City Council, and Hampshire County Council. Our step-down service helps residents transition into independence with dignity. They move forward at their own pace.
