Enhanced Support Service
At Bulwark Supported Living, we work closely with the NHS. We also collaborate with Southampton City Council and Hampshire County Council. Our goal is to support individuals transitioning back into independent living. Our service provides 12-week supported accommodation as part of a step-down pathway for those living with mental health needs. A short-term, community-based program designed to support individuals transitioning from hospital back into independent living.

Our Approach to Step-Down Care for Mental Health Recovery:
Help early hospital discharge
Reduce inpatient stay on acute mental health wards
Allow safe and supported reintegration into the Southampton community
24-hour live-in care in fully furnished temporary accommodation
Working closely with CCO (Care Co-ordinators) and community mental and physical teams
Recovery-focused environment, assisting with daily living activities and social reintegration
Short-term placements for up to twelve weeks, with an emphasis on accelerated independence
